Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive soon and you'll have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Saturday recap. At the meeting spot we all agreed that Deadman's Reef would probably have the best conditions, but how about something different? So we decided on Montage, which mans we leave the meeting spot 15 minutes later. Surf was nearly non existent and viz was good at 30+ and 40 in some spots. I was looking for Abalone which I found. Plus I saw an unusual Shark we had never seen before, sort of looked like a cross between a Horn Shark & a Leopard Shark, plus it appeared to be pregnant because it was really large around it's middle. So we talked about it afterwards, one thought was it might have been a Swell Shark, about 2-3 feet in length. On Saturday, there wasn't nearly the amount of fish, but it was a decent dive and good to go somewhere else for a change. Conditions were good all over Laguna.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The surf is low at 1-2+ feet and viz should be good. But it looks like if you want to dive, you might have to beat the storm that is due in on Tue/Wed. Rain is in the forecast and IF the County issues a rain advisory, I do not recommend going out, bacteria in the water. But we'll keep an eye on the weather.

Our plans are for Saturday. IF it does not rain, we'll be diving and if you want to dive on Thu & Fri, I'm putting together a list of those who want to dive. We will not be planning a dive for Thanksgiving, so we'll be diving on Saturday as I mentioned. So have your gear ready and be ready to dive.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
