Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive and you'll have plenty of others to dive with and gain experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf is low but... I hear on the news we have 'King tides', these occur during the proper alignment of the sun & moon, causing very high & low tides. Today is the first of 4 days of the King Tides. For instance, today the difference between high & low tide will be 6-7 feet, that is a lot of water movement. What does this mean in Laguna Beach? If the surf stays low, the viz should be ok, although somewhat lower, I'll estimate viz today at 20-30+ feet at the best spots. Surf right now is low at 1-2 feet. But if we get surf with the incoming storm, viz will be lower. The rain is supposed to be here tonight to tomorrow, so "Beat the storm" if you can dive today. Plus rain is in the forecast for Friday too. Send me your dive reports if you head out.

Our plans for Saturday will hinge on the weather. Stay tuned.

I received an email from someone who got their gear stolen right out of their garage. So if you hear of someone selling a woman's White's dry suit (You don't see many of those around) and Scuba Pro regs and much more, contact the authorities and let me know so I can get the owner involved too. I am going to be blunt, "That really sucks!!" Out of your own garage?? Let me know.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
