Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a dive soon, conditions permitting. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. This is simple "Don't". There is a surf advisory and the swell models show surf in the 6+ feet range as I write this. After what I saw on Saturday, the swell models showed 1-3 feet and the surf at the beach was 3-6 feet. Since we were there for about 20-30 minutes, I noticed the break between sets changed from about 3 minutes to less than 2 minutes. The tide was also going out. One thing I noticed was that it looked like viz would have been decent out at Deadman's, but you gotta get out there & back. Today... Do I even need to say it? Surf is going to be 6-9 feet at times and viz doesn't matter, because you can't get past the surf safely. Viz should be low at 10 feet or less. If you go down to the beach, get some picx of the surf (safely), love to see picx of waves crashing over the rocks.

Our plans are for Saturday. Right now, I see rain in the forecast for Thursday through Saturday, we'll see how that pans out. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
