Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a dive soon, conditions and weather permitting and you'll have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Well, simply NO. Since there has been overnight rain, the county has already issued a rain advisory, which means no diving for 3 days 'After' it stops raining. For the record, the surf is storm normal at 2-4+ feet. I noticed that the surf last week, messed up the surf zone at Crescent Bay for Saturday, shifting the sand just as you entered the water. I saw quite a few divers fall as they tried to step up from the 3 foot drop. But with surf low, 1-2 with those 3+ feet rogue waves, I did not see any divers having serious problems that those around could not help with. Viz today, 5-10 feet, may be a bit better in some spots. If you wish to see the county's web site for water quality, http://ocbeachinfo.com/ Keep this as one of your favorites, especially this time of the year.

Our plans for Saturday. It will depend on the rain. There is more rain in the forecast for Thu/Fri, a Christmas holiday with rain, I haven't seen that for a long time. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
