Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a dive soon, weather & conditions permitting. Welcome aboard.

Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna. Do I even have to mention it after it rains? 'Not'. Well obviously, the county still has the rain advisory in place, it is easy to say that it should be in place at least until Christmas Day. Bacteria in the water is something you just don't dive in, trust me it is not worth getting a head cold over and missing out on better days for diving. With that said, viz today should be around 10 feet and surf right now is 2-4+ feet too.

Because the year is winding down, I've been thinking about what the local Laguna diving highlights are for the year. Why don't you send me your thoughts. I'll start with the dive recently where we saw a couple of schools of White Sea Bass and a CA Trigger fish on the same dive, that was quite incredible for me to see, along with 40-50 feet of viz. But the White Sea Bass in our local waters is really something for us to brag about. To me, it is also obvious that since Laguna is totally protected, the amount of sea life has 'exploded' to say the least.

Our plans for Saturday don't look really good right now, but I'll keep an eye on the forecast, you be ready to dive. So stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
