Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf is a bit lower today, 1-3+ feet and viz should be in the 10-20 feet range, from a few dive reports I've received. I read one report from Reginald who said viz was around 20 feet near Corner Del Mar and another from Frank (12-27) and he said Crescent Bay was around 10 feet. I don't know if that means our 40+ feet of viz is gone for the season now and we're back to normal conditions or not. The only way to find out is to get some dives, now that sounds like a good New Years resolution, more diving. Send me your dive reports.

Our plans are for Saturday. So far so good. Stay tuned.

I received quite a few links to the Giant Squid story I asked about yesterday. Here are 2, first one is rather funny, due to the commentary, the other is w/o ads as much as possible, thanks everyone.

I was thinking that this creature may have been near the end of it's life cycle, which if it is like most Squid/Octopus is about 2-3 years. I imagine something that grows to that size that fast...??
Thanks again.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
