Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I was looking at the swell models this morning, I don't think I've ever seen such a long period of time where the scale was not on the 1 foot scale. For instance, today the scale is on the 2 foot scale. That may not seem like a big deal, but it is a sign to me of what is going on in our local waters. Back in 1997, the last big El Nino, we did not have this kind of information at our fingertips. Right now as I write this, surf is running 4-6 feet, not good. Viz? Nope. I do not recommend going diving today. We'll get back in the water, don't worry.

Our plans for tomorrow. Well, guess what? Yep, we are cancelling again. To say the least, I was discussing this with Louis, I don't think we have ever cancelled this many dives in a row. Makes you thankful we had such good viz before these storms hit. So we will look forward to next Saturday, so stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
