Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a dive once we get better conditions and you will have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Yesterday was the best possible day for a dive, so it appears. Surf is picking back up and the viz is getting worse. Surf right now, as I write this, is 2-4+ feet and the viz is under 10 feet. If you find a spot to dive, let me know about it.

Our plans for Saturday. Well, with rain expected tonight & tomorrow, it doesn't look good. But stay tuned.

Since we are not diving much right now, it gives me some time to dig into diving related stories our divers might be interested in. I found a good article written by DAN about diving deep. Good reading:

Plus I found a product that might be a good idea for divers who go on boat trips and worry about getting 'left behind', Check it out at:

The suggested retail price is $299, but I've seen it in a few places at less than that, lowest I saw online was $249. I would think this would be good for some people, not necessarily for beach divers.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
