Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Not good, that's for sure. Surf has really picked up and running 3-5 feet and it looks like it will grow some more today. Viz? Non existent at less than 10 feet. So with low viz and nasty waves that want to take you down with your 90 pounds of gear on, not a good idea to even attempt a beach dive today. Besides that, you would need to contact the Laguna Beach Life Guards and find out if diving is open or closed in Laguna, my guess is, it is not, 949.494.6573 for their recording, which is updated around 9 am.

Our plans for tomorrow. Canceled. With the surf how it is right now and through the weekend, we are not diving. Louis said "Haven't been diving since Jan..." and I said we did get a dive in 2 weeks ago, but before that, Jan for me too. But safety comes first, this sport is not worth dying over making a bad decision, so make good decisions out there everyone. Stay safe.
