Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The county hasn't issued a rain advisory yet, which surprises me, with the amount of rain we had in S OC, I figured there would be an advisory by now. I heard from Kathryn who told me she dove on Wed and viz wasn't too bad at 15 feet, but was still 'stirred up'. She also told me that out at Crescent Bay there was a lot of floating Sargassum on the surface. Makes me wonder if the higher surf helps remove it. As I write this, the surf is low at 1-2 feet and I'll say viz is 8-12 feet. But you need to keep an eye on the run-off from the rain, bacteria levels wise. Let me know what you find if you head out locally. There is more rain in the forecast for today & the weekend.

Our plans for tomorrow are cancelled. With more rain on the way, the water quality won't be favorable for our plans. So we will look forward to next w/e. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
