Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

I got an email from someone who mentioned that there is a story about a diver death at Shaw's a couple of weeks ago, yet, I have not heard a thing about this. So if anyone has a story link, I'd appreciate it, this is news to me.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Well, there is good news, VIZ is improving, I got a dive report yesterday that viz at Shaw's was 20 feet, this is GOOD (Thanks Mike). Today, much like yesterday surf is low at 1-2 feet and viz should be good around Laguna 15-20 feet???!!?? Yes, I am very optimistic to say the least. If you head out, drop me your dive reports.

Our plans for Saturday look REALLY good right now. Surf is expected to stay in the 1-2 feet range for the rest of the week. I know I am being positive but I want to get back in the water. But we need to keep an eye on possible rain today, let's hope there is not enough rain to trigger a rain advisory. So stay tuned and get your gear ready.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
