Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a scheduled dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with, now whether there is viz or not is another matter. Welcome aboard.

To add to Louis' weekend recap. I remember thinking that it felt good to be back in the water, that was the good part. The poor viz 8-12 feet was the bad part. If I take both of those factors into deciding the "Worth it factor" I'd have to say it wasn't really worth it, so my conclusion was, thumbs side ways on Saturday's dive.

I heard on Sunday about the Shark attack at Corona Del Mar. If I have my facts correct, that is the first 'Documented' beach Shark attack in OC since they have been keeping records, 1959. I remember looking into this about 4-5 years ago and I was amazed that there hadn't been such a thing in the OC. But since I cannot remember where I looked that up online, I can only add 1 & 1 together and come up with that. If you find an official site with these stats for the OC, send it to me.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Sucks. The S swell is back and running 2-4 feet right now. If we had 1-2 feet of surf nearly all week last week and we only got 8-12 feet of viz Saturday, we're going to need some really flat water to get viz back to 15 feet. Will a crystal ball help??? My is it worth it factor today is thumbs down.

Our plans are to always look forward to Saturday. But even that doesn't look good right now. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
