Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf isn't too bad this morning at 1-3 feet, but the viz still is less than 10 feet. I have yet to read a dive report from around the area that shows decent viz, in Laguna that would be 10-15 and Catalina better than 30 feet. Best viz I've read was 10-20 out at Ship Rock at Catalina, and that's not good viz there, a place known for better than 60 feet of viz on a regular basis. So the is it worth it factor still sucks to say the least. Louis has a point about this w/e, a S swell is expected. Today that S swell isn't strong, you might find a spot or two in Laguna with 10 or better viz, let me know if you find a "Worth it" spot.

I heard on the news a sighting of a Great White at Salt Creek, I don't know any details, my guess is it was a juvenile Shark, 5-8 feet??? I'll do some digging to try to find out more about it.

Our plans are still looking ahead to Saturday, but I am trying to stay optimistic, but it has been a difficult year so far. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
