Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a scheduled dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf's up. I always get concerned when I see the swell models on the 2 foot scale and it has been the last couple of days. Plus the County issued a Rain Advisory yesterday. It's been awhile since we've seen that, but a rain advisory is in place to let everyone know that the bacteria levels are high for the next 3 days, in other words, whatever is in our streets ends up in the ocean. So in my opinion, you need to stay out of the water. I remember when we didn't have such info and I would get head colds after a dive and it would hang on for several weeks. So the choice is do I risk a dive and possibly have to stay out of the water for several weeks?? But surf is running 2-4+ feet and viz is suffering at 10 feet & less.

Our plans are for Saturday. Stay tuned. We need the rain advisory lifted AND surf to decrease, we'll see how that works.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
