Good morning Divers!!!
VOTE today, now the advertising ends, thank goodness. I am hoping on a turn out better than 50% locally & across the country, get out and vote!!! Be an informed voter, we have a lot of propositions to deal with.

Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The swell models show the surf is up, running 2-5 feet. Now the question is the viz, it should be going down with high surf, so my best guess is 15-20 feet. But these conditions are not for new divers, high surf, lots of surge and the possibility of low viz and throw in 80-90 pounds of gear, can be a bad combination. So I would wait for better surf conditions. I have not dialed up the LBLG surf report, but if you want to, they update it around 9 am 949.494.6573, a recording. So if they close Laguna to diving, take that seriously, it just won't be worth it. Send me your reports if you head out.

Our plans for Saturday will hinge on the surf. Stay tuned to SCD for your diving conditions and our schedule.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
