Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The rain advisory is still in effect from the county. That being said, the surf is not as flat as yesterday, running 1-3 feet. I read several dive reports and they were saying viz was 15-25 feet, but I still would not be in the water with high bacteria levels. I've been there & done that only to have a head cold that hangs on for weeks on end, so some of you will risk it and other (Wiser) people will know what I'm saying. I just don't recommend you going into the water, simple. It is supposed to rain again this weekend too, so I don't have a clear idea of when the county will lift the advisory right now.

Our plans for tomorrow are canceled, simple. It is disappointing to have to cancel this much, 2016 we had to cancel more times than we've ever had before. But we had such high surf during the El Nino condition. Normally we do cancel dives this time of the year due to rain/storms, I expect that everything will improve in a month or less, but that in is only a guess. So stay tuned, we'll be back in the water before you know it.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
