Good morning Divers!!!
It's Friday!!

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The rain advisory was lifted yesterday around 3 pm, so that's good. Surf is still up at 2-4+ feet right now. Viz too is still at 10 feet, less in spots maybe some spots a bit more, but I call this low viz. So if you head out today and looking for viz, check the waves, one way of telling the viz, are the waves 'clear' as in not cloudy as they break (The larger waves). That can mean the viz can be OK, kinda a rule of thumb that we use. Santa Ana winds today, that COULD help with a bit more viz today, but with the high surf, I am wondering about that. Send me your dive reports if you head out today.

Our plans for tomorrow are cancelled. Louis & I decided that the waves should be a bit lower for 15 feet of viz. Yes, we have to use our crystal ball and try to predict how it will be tomorrow and we feel that we would like a bit more viz. So we will look forward to next Saturday instead.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
