Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf's up, running 3-5+ feet right now. Viz will suffer as a result, 3-6 feet, could be a bit more in a few spots, but my best estimate is that finding 10 feet of viz won't happen today. I was comparing the surf from S Laguna to N Laguna, because you could usually find lower surf in N Laguna, today it looks like it is about the same, which means dive conditions around the area just plain suck today. My guess is that Catalina could see 10-15 feet of viz, but I wouldn't count on great conditions there either. My opinion, considering you have to get to Catalina, to make it worthwhile, I prefer at least 30 feet of viz there to make it a decent day for diving. So if you find a spot with viz, let me know about it, send me your dive reports.

Our plans for Saturday will depend on the surf. A storm is brewing, supposed to be here by later Saturday and rain through Sunday. So stay tuned for more.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
