Good morning Divers!!!

Begin Time: 9:32 am
Time: 39 min
Max Dept: 46 ft
Temp: 57-61 F
Visibility: 15 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, low tide, waves, surge.

A good day of diving. Conditions were good for Laguna Beach. Visibility was 15 feet and the water was glassy. Tide was really low and we didn't have any big waves
when we entered and exited the water.

We got a late start from the mall to the beach. I wanted to go to Seal Rock again and then slowly swim back to shore. The conditions looked really good. The water
was glassy, the surf was low, tide was low, and the visibility at shore was really good. We swam all away around the reef and dropped down in front of Seal Rock.

We swam through a crevice and a large smooth round ray swam around us. It landed on the sand, and then got back up and buzzed all of us. The ray was light
colored, round and had a small tail. We continued on and saw lots of large sheephead swimming about.

I swam up and into a large kelp forest. It was dark when you entered. Lots of fish were inside hanging out in the kelp. I exited and swam along the reef and then
exited the reef.

I was swimming across a lot of emptied out mussel shells and I was thinking that I was getting close to another reef. Sure enough, we came up to Deadman's Reef.
We swam up and over. I felt a tug on my fin and Nick was pointing at his air gauge. It was time to head back.

We exited the reef and swam along the sand and came to the inner reef. We swam along side of the reef and when we reached the shore, we ascended in about 6
feet of water. An easy exit.

After packing our gear it was off to Husky Boy's for food and conversation. A good day of diving and everyone enjoyed the dive.
