Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf's up. The news media is reporting 2-5+ feet of surf (W facing beaches), yet here in Laguna, we're getting 2-4 feet of surf. We are not getting much protection from Catalina. But this is supposed to decrease, so we'll see. As a result, viz is low at less than 10 feet. I always recommend that you do not dive in high surf, for safety & viz reasons. But the city can close diving within city limits, the LBFG's update their recorded report around 9 AM, 949.494.6573 if you want to check that out. Another source for you to help you figure out diving plans.

Our plans for Saturday will depend on the surf & viz. So stay tuned here for more.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
