Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Not good, surf is not ideal, the viz sucks and even on the live cams (As I write this) the color of the water is leaning towards "Chocolate milk". Surf is running 1-3+ feet right now and the viz is low at 5-10 feet (If you're lucky). If you find better viz, send me your dive reports, I'd like to know about it.

Here's a question for everyone: I am in need of a dive instructor who has experience with hearing impaired students. So do me a favor and reply with information. This student is in the Inland Empire, but will go to where a good instructor is. So let me know if you know someone. Thanks ahead of time.

Our plans for tomorrow morning are HISTORY, as in cancelled. Louis & I feel there are too many factors against a decent & safe dive, so we decided yesterday that we are better off looking forward to next Saturday. Remember there is some rain in the forecast, although I don't think we'll get much over night here in S OC. But if you decide to go in the water, keep an eye on the beach, if there is water runoff going into the water, reconsider your plans, because where there is runoff, there is high bacteria, so that is not good. You don't want to get bad water into your ears, eyes, or mouth, can make you sick. So we'll look forward to next Saturday, so stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
