Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The swell models show 1-2 feet this morning, BUT... The live cams show something else, 2-3+ feet. The issue is, the swell is out of the S, which does not favor Laguna and diving. Viz must be low too, as in sucks, at less than 10 feet. Over the w/e, I read several dive reports, best I heard of was up to 20 feet at Heisler Park, but just about everywhere it was 10 feet with 15 feet in a spot or two.

I was watching the news on the shark sightings in San Clemente and of course, the report I saw showed some idiot fishing & catching a 10-12 footer from the pier. They only showed a few seconds of it, I will have to assume he released it before dragging it up onto the pier. They are protected for a reason. But the scientists are saying the sharks are feeding on Grunion and other small fish, since their populations are high right now. Use your own judgement and dive in better viz, just in case.

Our plans are for Saturday. Stay tuned here for more.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
