Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The news media is reporting 3-5 feet of surf, but I don't see it on the live cams or the swell models, so I presume that doesn't apply to S facing beaches, as Laguna is. What I see right now is 1-3 feet of surf, mostly 1-2 feet. But the viz is still on the low side at 8-15 feet around Laguna today. But since the surf has been rather low this week, I'm optimistic the viz will improve. If you dive today, send me your dive reports.

Our plans are for Saturday. Looks like surf will mainly be 1-2 feet with some 3 footers around and I'm hoping we'll get 10-15 feet of viz, or better. But we'll have to go find out for ourselves. Stay tuned for more.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
