Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with, conditions permitting. Welcome aboard.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Right now, as I write this, surf is ok, running 1-3+ feet.... But, the forecast is for 5-7 feet for S facing beaches, which Laguna is. Viz, should be 8-12 feet this morning, getting worse as the day goes on. Before you go out today, check the LBLG's recorded report, 949.494.6573, it is usually updated around 9 AM. IF they close the beach to diving, remember the diving won't be worth it, conditions will suck to say the least. So make good decisions for your diving based on your skill set and the conditions. I have not read a decent dive report yet, every one I've read has had viz no better than 12 feet. I really don't recommend diving today based on the incoming surf.

Our plans for Saturday will depend on the surf, high surf means no viz. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
