Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Yesterday I watched the live cam from the Pacific Edge Hotel and I could see the bottom in the earlier part of the day, but later in the afternoon, I couldn't see it any longer. But the surf was pretty flat at 1-2 feet. Today, surf is up a bit from yesterday 1-3+ feet and more on the way. Viz today should be 12-16 feet around most of Laguna. Again, with huge surf predicted, the forecast is not good, so today will be the last day of decent diving for the next few days. Send me your dive reports if you go out today.

Our plans for Saturday are in jeopardy right now due to the very large surf coming in. From the forecast I've been following, tomorrow Laguna is supposed to be getting 4-6 feet of surf and the w/e up to 10 feet. So it would appear that the LBLG's could close Laguna to diving, call their recording at 949.494.6573 from more info, updated around 9 am daily. So stay tuned, but I'm pessimistic right now, sorry Chuck...

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
