Good morning Divers!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I see on the live cams the surf is relatively flat at 1-3 feet. Today should be the highest surf day for this week, the forecast shows surf decreasing over the next couple of days. Viz is still a bit on the low side at 10-15 feet, or typical Laguna. If you head out today, send me your dive reports.

I get to announce the return of regular scheduled night dives. A few members of the group want to go back to night diving and we'll start with the FIRST Thursday of each month. Here's the info about it, we are planning the first dive at Shaw's Cove and meet there (Not the mall) at 6:30 and hit the water at 7 PM. Remember to be quiet, especially after your dive, don't go blowing off your gear with air, save that for at home or at the local dive shop, where you're away from the locals trying to get to sleep. So meet up tomorrow night and enjoy your night dive. Send me dive reports. You'll meet up with Mike, Rand and Matt, all experienced night divers that can help you with any night diving questions.

Our plans for Saturday. Looks good right now, especially since there will be only 1 high tide, which favors diving. So the surf will drop between now & then and only 1 high tide, very promising to say the least. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
