Good morning Divers!!! It's Friday!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Show up for a dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

I got an email from last night's night dive at Shaw's Cove from Paul, here's what he send me:
We have 5 of us show up at Shaw's we suited up and entered the water a little after 7 and after the swim out the sun was getting low and was dark in the water so was sort of a perfect timing. We descended and followed the reef around and Rand took on an adventure few a few of the slots in the reef which was daunting at first but ended up being a lot of fun. We have several large harbor seals join us for the dive they were hunting using our lights and some were successful in catching a few sleeping fish they kept swimming around and underneath to try and see what we were looking at in the crevices. We saw some monster lobsters out in the sand. We saw some small rays on the way back in. Mike was fortunate to see a Horn Shark and a Moray eel swimming in the open. Rand and I both had just had a visual inspection on our tanks and for some reason only had 2100 psi in the tanks at the start of the dive so we headed back in a little earlier than the others but still managed a 50 min dive. The rest came back in another 15 mins. The visibility was excellent I would guess 15-20 ft. The surf was mostly low however coming in I was commenting how calm it was when a rouge wave hit rand and I nearly taking us both down so you can never let your guard down. Looking forward to great conditions again on Sat.

Our plans for tomorrow are ON. If you have not dove with us before, show up at the meeting spot a bit early, we usually start arriving around 7:10 or so. Imfo on where to meet on the website under "Directions". So we'll see you tomorrow, BE THERE!!!

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
