Good morning Divers!!! It's Friday!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The surf has dropped down to 1-2+ feet, I would still keep an eye on set waves higher than that, word to the wise there. Viz is good, our Thursday night divers said viz at Heilser Park was 15-20+ feet. Today, depending on where you go, you should find 15-30 feet. Send me dive reports.

Last Saturday, our divers spotted a colony of Green Abs and they told me it was obvious that someone had poached them, nearly half of the shells appeared to be freshly shucked. If you see anyone doing this, use the DFW's tip line: 1-888-334-CalTIP (888-334-2258) Turn these people in. This kind of thing just pisses me off. We all know that in Laguna everything is protected and Abs themselves are protected from the Mexico border to above San Francisco and you cannot use scuba to catch an Ab up there too. Report poachers!!!

Our plans for tomorrow are ON. Since there was NOT a rain advisory from the county, we be divin'!!! We usually start showing up at the meeting spot around 7:10 or so. If you are new show up a bit early so we get time to get to know you before we head for the beach. Info on where to meet on web page under "Directions". So we'll see you tomorrow and be ready to dive. BE THERE!!!!

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
