Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf's building, running 2-4+ feet right now. Viz will be dropping too, probably 10-15 feet right now. I'm really disappointed with our viz lately, or maybe I'm just spoiled because this time of the year is when we always brag about having great viz. But instead, we are getting 10-20 feet when we should be getting 30+ on nearly every dive. I hope this changes and we get our great viz back. I noticed that our divers on Saturday reported that the water had a white tint to it, that usually means the water temp has dropped enough for kelp to spawn, I know it affects viz, but it is good that the kelp is spawning. So today, I'd think twice about going out, surf and lower viz is not worth it.

Our plans for Saturday will depend on the surf. So stay tuned here for more.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
