Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with while gaining experience in our local waters. Welcome aboard.

Saturday recap. We had 14 divers show up for our dive at Heisler Park. The tide was really high as the water from the waves reached all the way to up to the cliff and ramp to the beach. Surf was manageable at 1-3+ feet, when I say 3+ some of highest waves reached 4 feet and they broke right on the beach. Our divers reported 10-15 feet of viz with lots of sea life but the viz was disappointing. Everyone made it in & out ok and we then hit lunch at the Husky Boy.

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The SA winds are cranking up which is good for diving in Laguna, although they won't pick up until this afternoon. i expect surf varying around Laguna, anywhere from 1-4 feet today. Viz is till low but should be picking up at 10-20 feet around most of Laguna. I think the conditions will be decent for night diving, because the conditions should improve as the day goes on. Send me your dive reports.

Our plans right now are for Saturday and our Thu night divers are planning a dive for this Thu. So stay tuned here for more.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
