Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The surf is still low this morning, running 1-2+ feet, but it looks like it will be going up a bit as the day goes on, I expect surf to be 1-3+ feet later. Viz is still going to be ok at 15-25 feet and you could find better in some spots. So send me your dive reports if you head out today or tonight.

Our plans are for Saturday. Stay tuned here for more.

I received an email from Ken Curtis about a missing GBSB listening device:
I wanted to let everyone know that one of our Giant Sea Bass listening receivers at Goat Harbor has gone missing. There was quite a bit of data collected on this particular receiver, so we'd really like to get it back, no questions asked. Receivers are negatively buoyant and, as such, attached to a line with two orange floats. Each receiver has contact information should it be found, including Dr. Chris Lowe's email address and phone number at CSULB. This particular receiver seems to have disappeared from the float line it was attached to at Goat Harbor.
If you known anything about this, please let me know and I will forward it to Ken, thanks ahead of time.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
