Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The surf is remaining low at 1-3 feet, although you still need to keep your eyes on the surf looking for those occasional 4 footers. Viz is still decent at 20-30 feet. I did get some pictures of one of our divers who saw a female Green Sea Turtle at Shaw's on New Years Day. That's what I like, photo evidence, thanks Mike. So it appears that there is still some good diving and some rather unusual 'Visitors' to our area too. If you go out today, send me a dive report.

Our plans. Well, tonight our Thursday Night divers are diving Crescent Bay, meet there at 6 PM. Word of advice on night dives in Laguna: After your dive DO NOT blow air to clean off your reg, if you don't think that neighbors will complain to the city council, "Think again". Simply take your gear over to the closed dive shop, park there and break everything down and then leave from there. Remember the amount of property taxes the home owners pay have a LOT of pull with the city council and they have banned diving in Laguna before, so respect the local people and stay quiet on your night dives. PLUS, we have our Saturday dive plan. I will have more tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
