Good morning Divers!!!

It was a rainy week and shore diving along the coast was closed do to a rain advisory. My AOW was still on schedule because we were far from the urban run off.
My two students spent the night at Avalon and met us at the dive park. The dives we did were DEEP, WRCK and FISH ID.

Begin Time:8:38 am
Time: 23 min
Max Dept: 99 ft
Temp: 57 - 62 F
Visibility: 40 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, High tide, surge, current.
Dive Buddies: Anthony and Jack. Total 3.

Our first dive was the deep dive and we went to the corner of the park and used the buoy's chain as a guide to drop down. At the bottom, we swam towards the
shore and headed to where the Sujack is located. The thick kelp forest hid the wreck from us and we didn't find it. We swam along the edge of the kelp forest and
then to the local buoys to do a safety stop and then to the stairs where we exited.

Begin Time: 10:19 am
Time: 35 min
Max Dept: 99 ft
Temp: 58 - 62 F
Visibility: 40 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, High tide, surge, current.
Dive Buddies: Anthony and Jack. Total 3.

For this dive, we swam to the buoy directly in front of the stairs. We dropped down and headed back to the stairs where we should have seen the sailboat. But with
the thick kelp in spots we didn't see it. I swam in a search pattern and couldn't find it. We did swim low to the ground and through the thick sargassum weeds and
through the thick kelp. I headed back to where the Sujack is located, but didn't find it. We finished the dive at the small buoys where we did our safety stop.

Begin Time: 11:51 - 12:27 am
Time: 36 min
Max Dept: 54 ft
Temp: 59 - 62 F
Visibility: 40 feet
Conditions: Salt water, shore dive, High tide, surge, current.
Dive Buddies: Anthony and Jack. Total 3.

This time, I let Jack lead us. He had us go to the west side of the park. After a few minutes of exploring, he headed east. He was going too far, so I had to catch up
and stop him and have him turn around. We stayed real shallow and he enjoyed the plant life there. We exited at the stairs.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
