Good morning Divers!!! It's Friday!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. To say that Louis & I were totally surprised that the county issued a rain advisory what we considered a day or two later than expected, is an understatement. But there you have it, the county did. So that means it is recommended to stay out of the water for 3 days. That sucks, because the surf is low and the viz should be improving. Today surf is running 1-2+ feet and viz should be around 15 feet. Usually the county will issue a rain advisory on the day it is raining, so this was unusual to say the least. Even though I don't recommend going out, if you do, send me your dive reports, because I know there will be people going out.

As a result of the rain advisory, we have cancelled our Saturday dive plans. As I mentioned, Louis & I decided that we will stay with our idea that if the there is an advisory, it is our responsibility to follow that and not dive. So instead we're again looking forward to next Saturday.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
