Good morning Divers!!! It's Friday!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Today is probably the last day before the swell from the hurricane gets here. I heard this morning it has been upgraded to a Cat4 storm, that means some very large surf is on the way. But today, the surf is still running 1-2+ feet, but it's changing. Viz is still not ideal running 10-15 feet. Send me your dive reports if you go out today.

Our plans. Since the swell is due in tomorrow we are cancelling our plans. I was hoping we could get our dive in before the swell, but I decided it's not worth it. So instead we're looking ahead to next Saturday. If you go down to the beach send me the pictures of the incoming swell, which starts tomorrow and will build up to about 8-9 feet by Tuesday, then it should start dropping down. Stay tuned here for more.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
