Good morning Divers!!!
Welcome those new to our list of local OC divers. Just show up for a scheduled dive and you will have plenty of others to dive with. Welcome aboard.

Saturday recap. We had 6 or 7 divers show up at the meeting spot, great to see some faces I haven't seen in 'Years'. But alas, the viz must have been really bad, we lost half of the group on our way to Crescent Bay, I don't know what went wrong there. Surf was ok running mainly 1-2 with some 3 footers, but those weren't very often. But again, the viz was low at 5-10+ feet. Lobsters and the usual critters were seen and we had lunch afterwards at the Husky Boy. The comment I heard was, "It was better than working..."

Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The swell is running 1-3 feet and the viz remains low at 8-12 feet. You need to decide if this low viz is what you want to deal with for a dive. Several people are cancelling their dives due to the viz being so low. If you go out today, send me a dive report.

Our plans right now are for Saturday. I want the viz to improve, we'll see how it goes this week. Stay tuned.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
