Good morning Divers!!!

Welcome to those that are new to the list. This is the group that dives every Saturday (conditions permitting).

We cancelled the dive on Saturday because of the south swell bringing high surf to Laguna. I'm sounding like a broken record, but the weekends have had high surf
all month long. We are having a King Tide. This is where the tide is extremely high. It was almost up to 7 feet during the past weekend. On another note, the water
temperature has increased in the equator which means we may have an El Nino winter. The water temperature is also high off of Mexico and that will increase the
number of hurricanes in August. That means more south swells will be coming.

This week the south swells will be getting smaller. But timing is everything. The south swells are due to hit again next weekend. Thursday is going to be the best
day to get a dive in. The south swell starts coming in on Friday bringing waist high surf. On Saturday it will increase to chest high. That is our line and when it's
chest high or more, we cancel.

Rich will have more throughout the week.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
