Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The surf direction is still out of the S and running 2-4 feet today. Guess what? The viz is still low too at less than 10 feet. I know there are a lot of divers itching to get out there, but as we have been saying July is usually the worst month of the year for diving in most of S CA, our best time of the year is Nov-Jan where we can get 50-70 feet of viz. I got a dive report from Ruth who is at Catalina this time of the year and she said that conditions are all over the place in the park on some days it's 20-25 feet and others 10 feet, either of those is what I would call low viz for Catalina. Thanks Ruth. But if you find a spot, don't keep it a secret, send me a dive report.

I've been watching the latest season of Coopers Treasure on History Channel. As I watch it, I keep thinking they're not going to find a "Mother lode".... But that's my take on it. But a show with lots of diving in it.

Our plans are for Saturday. Stay tuned here.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
