Good morning Divers!!!
Current diving conditions in Laguna Beach. I'll start with what I saw on Saturday, big surf. When Louis said the biggest waves were about 8 feet, that's true and the surf zone was still narrow at about 30-50 feet, so an 8 foot wave looks really close to shore at Heisler Park, as opposed to Main Beach. I have a picture link below to get an idea of how it looked from the beach where I was. The LBLG's report said surf was 2-4 feet and building on Saturday, you can see by the picture that was not 2-4 feet. Today, surf is higher according to the swell models which show 3-5 feet right now. Viz is non existent at 2-4 feet. So my recommendation is to not go out today, it just is not worth it, I said the same thing on Saturday too.

Our plans are for Saturday, but right now, that doesn't look good, but we'll keep an eye on it. Stay tuned here for more.
