Good morning Divers!!! Its' Friday!!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. The surf is running 1-3+ feet right now and it looks like surf will drop for the afternoon to 1-2 feet. Viz is decent at 10-20 feet depending on where you go. If you go out today, send me your dive report.

Since the opening of lobster season is tomorrow at 6AM, you need to make 100% your have the proper DFW license & lobster report card. Make sure you fill out your entry on the report card BEFORE you go into the water, it's not worth the $1500 fine. Even if you don't catch any bugs the DFW wants to know. Plus, know the laws, ignorance will get you fined. Remember that all bug diving must be done out side of Laguna, so Crystal Cove is OK to the north and past Salt Creek to the south. I just checked the DFW website and confirmed Salt Creek is part of the protected area. I have a link to the DFW website on the SCD home page.

Our plans for tomorrow are ON. If you have not joined us before, we start showing up at our meeting spot at 7:10 or so, please be a bit early so we can get to know you. High tide is around 5:15 so we have all of Laguna for our dive site choice, which we will decide at the mall. So we'll see YOU tomorrow, BE THREE!!!

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
