Good morning Divers!!! It's Friday!!!
Current scuba diving conditions in Laguna Beach. Surf is still up running 2-5+ feet around the area. Viz is very low at less than 10 feet. I got a dive report from Rich who dove Fisherman's Cove (AKA Boat Canyon) and he said viz was mostly 5-10 feet and a spot or two a bit better, with heavy surge. But surf was manageable, thanks Rich. So you see, it doesn't appear to be worth it. But if you go out, send me your dive report.

Our plans for tomorrow are cancelled. Louis & I compared notes and we don't see the surf cooperating much and the viz is just too low for our 15 foot minimum, although we seem to go in a bit less at times. So instead, we're looking ahead to next Saturday. We have no plans for diving during the holiday. Stay tuned here for more.

Have a Merry Christmas & a happy holiday everyone. Spend time with family and people important to you.

Diving!! DO IT!! Safely...
