Diving here is similar to Diver's Cove, again, because they are so close
together. One spot I've been told about (Never been there) at this locale
you can around the corner to Rock Pile closer to Main Beach, several times a year it is the "Breeding"
and "Birthing" (Is there such a word?) ground for the Leopard Sharks, they can
even be seen "Doing their thing" while Skin Diving. Again, I've been told this,
I've never actually seen this "Spot". In recent years Soupfin Shark sightings
have been numerous along with videos proving this, some of our divers have seen 7
or more sharks on one dive. Pointer: IF you see them stay on the bottom and remain
in one spot, they will come right up to you, very friendly and curious of divers.
They are also not harmful to divers, just curious.
The shower at the bottom is nice for rinsing off your gear before you head
up the hill. In fact, other than Reef Point & Shaw's Cove, I don't know of any other
showers in Laguna itself.
There are several reef structures further out just like at Boat Canyon and
Diver's Cove. I kind of look at this whole area as being "One place" because
they are so close to each other, but the entries and exits are very different
for each place...
Photography is very good around this whole area if the conditions are good. But
on those days when VIZ is low, go somewhere else if you are looking for pictures.
This area can also be affected if there is a "Sewage spill" at Main Beach. Avoid
this whole area when these events happen.
